I recently gave my first BIG public talk, it wasn’t just any talk, it was THE talk, the one on the magical red dot! I didn’t chose it, it chose me. The first I heard about it was when an email landed with the subject: “You’ve been nominated for People’s Choice Speaker at TEDx Totnes”. Whooooooaaaaaa. Me? But I’m not a professional speaker, I’m a photographic artist, an alchemist, a dancer but not a speaker!

I have a question for you today.... when you look in the mirror do you approach with a means to criticize, or to 'fix' something? The Social Issues Research Centre (SRIC) reports that "8 out of 10 women are dissatisfied with their reflection, and more than half may see a distorted image."
